Assistant Front Office Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the daily operations of the Front Desk, Guest Services, Concierge and Night Audit in a busy hotel environment. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the role ensures seamless arrival, stay and departure experiences for all guests while upholding Accor’s standards of service and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Front Office teams, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and VIP service standards.
• Manage guest arrival, stay and departure processes, including special requests and loyalty program promotion.
• Maintain staffing levels, create schedules and ensure the team has necessary supplies.
• Communicate effectively with other department leaders and conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and recruitment for Front Office staff.

Required profile

• Matriculation with relevant hospitality management experience (advantage).
• 3‑5 years of front office management experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven leadership in a fast‑paced environment and strong financial acumen in budgeting and revenue management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to adhere to South African labour law health and safety standards.
