Assistant F&B Outlet Manager

About the role

As an Assistant F&B Outlet Manager you will help create memorable dining experiences for guests at a luxury hotel. You will support the smooth operation of food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service, comfort and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the highest hospitality standards throughout all phases of F&B service in line with hotel values.
• Assist in managing multiple F&B outlets, supervising staff and coordinating front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house communication.
• Implement systems and procedures to improve cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Support reporting, payroll, rostering and daily briefings with the team.
• Monitor equipment, inventories, food and beverage costs, and ensure compliance with storage and expiry controls.
• Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and presentation to uphold quality standards.
• Update the On‑Track system daily and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Participate in stock‑takes, staff training and on‑the‑job coaching sessions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of supervisory F&B management experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of silverware handling (advantageous).
• Basic understanding of food cost, employee scheduling and payroll (advantageous).
• Working knowledge of general restaurant operations.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale computers and software.
