Assistant Director: School Sport Programmes

About the role
The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport of the Western Cape Government is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the development and expansion of school sport programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with partners to ensure the Western Cape School Sport Strategy is implemented effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Promote effective and efficient code development for school sport initiatives.
- Expand access to school sport programmes across the Western Cape.
- Develop and maintain collaborative strategies and partnerships with schools, sport bodies and community organisations.
- Identify and secure resources to support programme delivery in line with the Western Cape School Sport Strategy.
Required profile
- Qualified and competent individual with relevant experience in sport programme management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
