Assistant Client Relationship Manager

About the role

The Assistant Client Relationship Manager supports the client service team by applying specialist knowledge of administration, products and processes to resolve technical and complex queries. Acting as a subject‑matter expert and escalation point, the role ensures accurate client onboarding, disbursements and data integrity while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point for high‑complexity administrative, product and process issues.
• Resolve technical problems related to client queries, onboarding, transfers and terminations.
• Verify data inputs in the CRM system to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk and Operations to execute remediation activities (AML, FATCA, CRS).
• Maintain strict adherence to regulatory frameworks such as FICA and FAIS.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to client instructions, queries and complaints.
• Assist other business areas as required, supporting overall service delivery.

Required profile

• Matric qualification with National Diplomas or Advanced Certificates.
• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in financial services, preferably within the investment industry.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and good communication skills.
• Proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
