About the role
We are looking for an Artisan Assistant to support the Maintenance Department at our Richards Bay facility. The role involves assisting qualified artisans with routine maintenance, inspections, and minor fitting, electrical and instrumentation tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assist artisans in performing daily maintenance activities.
- Carry out routine inspections of equipment and infrastructure.
- Execute minor mechanical fitting, electrical wiring, and instrumentation tasks under supervision.
- Maintain and organize tools and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required profile
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in an industrial environment.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
