Art Director / Graphic Designer – Retail Fashion

About the role

The client, a leading retail fashion brand, is looking for an Art Director/Graphic Designer to lead the visual direction of digital marketing campaigns and in‑store communications. You will shape concepts, oversee execution, and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design and direct digital marketing campaigns for web, social and in‑store platforms.
• Provide art direction for photo and video shoots, guiding photographers, videographers and content creators.
• Create social media assets, newsletters, and in‑store collateral while maintaining brand standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate marketing strategies into compelling visual solutions.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience with proven art‑direction responsibilities.
• Strong portfolio showcasing fashion or retail campaigns.
• Passion for fashion and creative arts.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of Canva for rapid content creation.
• Certification in recognized design software (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert).
