Area Sales Manager – Western Cape (Agricultural Machinery Parts)

About the role

The company is seeking an energetic Area Sales Manager to lead the agricultural machinery parts business across the Western Cape. You will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with dealers and workshops, and ensuring the region meets its revenue and margin targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the agricultural machinery parts portfolio in the Western Cape.
• Work closely with parts dealers, stockists, and repair workshops to grow sales.
• Conduct customer relationship management and generate new business opportunities.
• Achieve local sales and margin objectives set by the national team.
• Promote, demonstrate, and sell parts, identifying high‑potential dealers and key accounts.
• Create and execute a regional business strategy.
• Train dealer staff and support dealer open days, agricultural shows, and events.
• Report performance and market insights to the National Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Matric qualification and a relevant tertiary qualification.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Proven commercial sales experience in the agricultural sector, preferably with agricultural machinery parts.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Western Cape.
• Valid driver’s licence.
