Angular UI Developer (Mid-Senior)

About the role

NNW Tech Solutions is partnering with a leading wealth and asset management company in Sandton, Johannesburg, to recruit an Angular UI Developer. The role suits a self-motivated person who owns their work from design to deployment, building front-end solutions and improving code quality and user experience. You will work with backend developers, UX designers and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using Angular 12+ and TypeScript
• Collaborate with UX designers to turn designs into functional components
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews and adherence to best practices
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness across browsers and devices
• Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure data consistency
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives
• Maintain documentation for the front-end codebase and UI component libraries
• Improve the user experience through usability improvements and design enhancements

Required profile

• Strong experience with Angular 12+ and TypeScript
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Advantageous: familiarity with design systems or component libraries (Material, PrimeNG), DevOps pipelines and CI/CD, and prior experience in financial or investment banking systems

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Flexbox
• RxJS, NgRx or other reactive programming patterns
• REST APIs and asynchronous data handling (HTTPClient)
• Modern JavaScript tooling such as npm and Webpack
• Testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma or Cypress
