Analytical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Engineer to turn business requirements into trusted, analytics‑ready datasets. You will design and implement scalable data models, ensure data quality, and support reporting and advanced analytics across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Design logical and physical data models using Data Vault 2.0 and Dimensional Modelling.
• Build and optimise complex SQL queries for transformation, profiling, validation and analysis.
• Develop trusted datasets for dashboards, BI tools and advanced analytics.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Architects and BI Developers.
• Support enterprise data governance standards and best practices.
• Work with Azure and Databricks to develop modern data solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries and metadata.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence or Analytical Engineering.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into analytical data models.
• Hands‑on experience with Data Vault 2.0 and Dimensional Modelling.
