AI and Automation Systems Intern

About the role

This internship is designed for an early‑career candidate eager to apply artificial intelligence, automation, and basic cybersecurity practices to improve HR and people‑operations processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and help embed AI‑driven solutions into existing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Map and document business, HR, and people‑operations workflows.
• Gather stakeholder input and translate it into clear process notes, user stories, or implementation briefs.
• Build, test, and refine AI‑supported and automation‑enabled processes using approved tools.
• Configure and improve workflows in platforms such as Zapier or Make.com.
• Assist with embedding workflows into forms, websites, databases, or other operational platforms.
• Apply basic cybersecurity best practices when handling data, access permissions, and integrations.
• Design prompts, verify AI outputs, and conduct quality checks.
• Prepare and deliver training materials, guides, and practical sessions on AI and automation topics.
• Coordinate timelines, feedback, and updates across multiple stakeholders.

Required profile

• Current or recent studies in AI, automation, data analytics, computer science, HR, industrial psychology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Completed relevant courses, projects, or self‑directed learning in AI tools, prompt engineering, or no‑code automation.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
