Agronomist & Technical Marketer – Gqeberha

About the role

Our client, a leading agricultural company, is looking for an Agronomist / Technical Marketer to drive seed product sales and provide expert agronomic support to farmers in the Gqeberha region. You will combine scientific knowledge with commercial acumen to grow market share and improve crop performance.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Agricol seed products, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Provide on‑farm agronomic advice to improve yields and operational efficiency.
• Plan, execute, and document product trials, reporting results to both the company and growers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Travel regularly throughout the territory to support sales initiatives and deliver technical assistance.
• Record customer interactions, trial data, and sales activities accurately in company systems.

Required profile

• Relevant agricultural or seed‑sales qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in Afrikaans (spoken and written) for effective communication with the client base.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to manage time and resources effectively.
