Agricultural Solar Sales Engineer

About the role

Our client is looking for a dynamic Agricultural Solar Sales Engineer to drive the adoption of solar energy solutions within the farming sector. You will act as the primary liaison between renewable‑energy technology providers and agricultural businesses, helping them transition to cost‑effective, sustainable power.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients across the agricultural industry.
• Promote solar PV solutions for irrigation, cold storage, and general farm operations.
• Conduct on‑site visits and perform energy‑needs assessments.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and written proposals.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications.
• Stay updated on solar technologies, agricultural energy challenges, and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in renewable energy or agricultural equipment.
• Strong understanding of farming operations and energy challenges in agriculture.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within farming regions.
