Advancing Financial Adviser – Springbok

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking an Advancing Financial Adviser to join its Springbok team. In this full‑time position you will act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering high‑quality service and supporting the growth of our financial advisory business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide standard customer service, handling routine inquiries and directing complex matters to senior colleagues.
• Assess compliance with internal standards and external regulatory codes for routine requests.
• Welcome visitors, respond to information requests, and manage follow‑up actions in the CRM system.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify needs and identify sales opportunities.
• Prospect and develop relationships with allocated potential customers through phone or face‑to‑face contact.
• Ensure operational compliance by following mandatory procedures and quality standards.
• Support business development activities and assist colleagues with established processes.
• Collect and input relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats for analysis.
• Participate in networking activities both within and outside the organisation.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to balance stakeholder interests, communicate effectively and maintain accountability.
• Strong interpersonal skills, trust‑building capability and capacity to manage complexity.
