About the role
Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser based in the Pietermaritzburg, Howick and surrounding areas. The role sits within the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan and the specific business unit.
Required profile
- Minimum of Matric or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
- At least 12 months' financial services experience as a Financial Adviser.
- Completion of the Long-term Insurance Class of Business.
- Additional FAIS requirements such as Investments Class of Business, RE5 and an FSCA-approved qualification are advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence and own car, and a clear criminal and credit check.
Required skills
- Computer literacy and proven ability to collate, analyse and synthesise information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and planning skills.
- Sales competencies: consultative selling, identifying customer needs and sales opportunities, qualifying prospects, sales data management and sales software.
