Advancing Financial Adviser (Heilbron / Frankfort)

About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser based in Heilbron / Frankfort. The role covers customer service, prospecting and relationship building, and operational compliance within the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Handle simple customer inquiries and assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine enquiries.
• Receive visitors, assist with information requests and refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Keep customer details in the CRM system accurate and record follow-up actions and notes on each sales call.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their needs.
• Call allocated potential customers by telephone or in person to build relationships and act as first point of contact for queries and complaints.
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and comply with external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
• Support business development and identify potential customers through information, referrals and recommendations from existing customers.
• Select data from others and enter it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Contribute to a network of people, technologies and ideas inside and outside the company.

Required profile

• NQF Level 4, Grade 12, school leaving certificate, National or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required).
• Appointments are made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit.
