Advancing Financial Adviser (Hartswater / De Aar / Kimberley / Douglas)

About the role

Old Mutual is recruiting an Advancing Financial Adviser based in the Hartswater / De Aar / Kimberley / Douglas area. The role covers customer service, relationship building and prospecting, with a focus on simple inquiries and basic customer needs clarification.

Key responsibilities

• Handle simple customer inquiries and refer more complex matters to colleagues
• Check that basic customer details in the system are accurate and record follow-up actions and notes from each sales call
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify their requirements
• Make calls to potential customers to build relationships and act as first point of contact for queries and complaints
• Follow mandatory procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory and internal codes of conduct
• Support business development and identify potential customers through information, referrals and recommendations from existing customers
• Select data from others and enter it into spreadsheets or standard formats
• Contribute to a network of people, technologies and ideas inside and outside the company

Required profile

• NQF Level 5 qualification (Higher, Advance or Occupational Certificate) or equivalent
• Appointments are made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa
