About the role
We are looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant to provide support across multiple departments. The role involves quickly learning each department’s workflows and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver administrative assistance such as data entry, scheduling, correspondence and record management.
- Familiarise yourself with the policies, procedures and requirements of each assigned department.
- Identify and resolve administrative bottlenecks to maintain efficient operations.
- Transition seamlessly between departments while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
- Propose and implement improvements to administrative processes and share best practices.
- Support team members in achieving overall team goals.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a general administrative or similar role.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Professional attitude, ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self‑motivated, deadline‑driven and able to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with scheduling tools and filing systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and processes.
