About the role

This full‑time position provides essential administrative support within the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness. The role assists the linen bank, supports managers during meetings, and handles general secretarial duties.

Key responsibilities

Administer the linen bank, including soil sorting and maintaining a clean area.
Provide support to managers during meetings and act as a receptionist.
Perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with relevant experience in general administration and statistical data collection.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good written communication skills.

Required skills

Computer literacy in Microsoft Word.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel.
