Admin & Stock Controller Team Lead

About the role

The Admin & Stock Controller Team Lead will oversee both administrative functions and inventory management for a leading property and leisure company. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure accurate stock records, efficient ordering, and smooth day‑to‑day operations while leading a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages and trigger re‑ordering processes.
• Analyse sales data to forecast demand and optimise stock orders.
• Manage stock movement between stockrooms and departments.
• Maintain detailed stock records and reports using inventory management systems.
• Process payments, supplier invoices and coordinate timely deliveries.
• Supervise a team of stock controllers, administrators and GSE staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Assist the departmental helpdesk, handle after‑hours standby duties and building lock‑up.

Required profile

• Matric qualification with at least two years of administrative experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team.
• Driver’s licence, own transport and physical capability to lift heavy items.
• Knowledge of isiZulu and general maintenance duties is an advantage.
