About the role
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Data Entry Specialist to join our growing finance team in Somerset West. The role focuses on processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate entry into our ERP system, supporting the smooth operation of the accounts payable function.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the shared AP inbox and retrieve incoming invoices.
- Match each invoice to the corresponding purchase order in the ERP.
- Validate invoice amounts, quantities and vendor details.
- Identify and flag duplicate invoices or discrepancies.
- Enter approved invoices accurately into the ERP system.
- Organise processed emails into labelled AP folders for easy reference.
Required profile
- High attention to detail and strong data‑entry accuracy.
- Organised and efficient workflow management.
- Experience handling shared inboxes and processing invoices is preferred.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Familiarity with Sage ERP or similar accounting systems.
- Basic understanding of ERP environments and purchase‑order matching.
