Accounts Payable Controller

About the role

The hospitality group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Controller to own the AP function across multiple luxury hotel and lodge properties. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments while maintaining strict compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of the accounts payable process, from invoice receipt to payment execution.
• Process and verify supplier invoices, credit notes, and statements.
• Run payment cycles and ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
• Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve related queries.
• Manage GRNI clearing and support departments with PO/GRN issues.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and hospitality finance procedures.
• Assist with month‑end reporting and audit preparation.
• Maintain accurate AP records for all hotel and lodge properties.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on Accounts Payable experience.
• Proven experience in the hotel or lodge industry (non‑negotiable).
• Strong understanding of hospitality supplier processes and controls.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the role.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).
• Experience with hospitality PMS or accounting systems, preferably Benson PMS.
