About the role

Icebolethu Group is seeking two Accounts Payable Clerks to manage day‑to‑day processing of accounts payable transactions, support administrative operations, and assist with reporting within the Group Finance Department.

Key responsibilities

Receive, review, verify and code invoices, ensuring they are matched and captured for payment in line with the approvals framework.
Prepare payment requests, pay‑run schedules and forward remittance advice to suppliers while adhering to payment terms.
Reconcile creditor accounts, track expenses, and assist with month‑end closing and related documentation.
Maintain the accounts payable filing system, investigate invoice discrepancies, and provide supporting documentation for audits.
Compile and consolidate standardised reports, communicate information to employees and management, and support general administrative tasks.

Required profile

Diploma or degree in Accounting or a related finance qualification.
Minimum of 2 years experience working in accounts payable.
