About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client’s head office in Sandton. The role involves a broad range of accounting functions, supporting the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and review account reconciliations.
  • Perform financial analysis and ensure timely generation of monthly management reports.
  • Assist with management accounts, schedules, and respond to queries.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Handle individual company accounts and undertake ad‑hoc assignments as directed by the Group Financial Executive and Company Secretary.

Required profile

  • BCom degree or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Completed articles with a reputable accounting firm.
  • Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with IFRS.
