Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team in day‑to‑day operations. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and contributes to the preparation of budgets and financial analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, ensuring data integrity and timely availability.
• Manage the general ledger, perform detailed reconciliations, and oversee month‑end closing processes to guarantee accurate financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal company policies throughout all financial activities.
• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, verifying accuracy and proper documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis, providing insights to support business decisions.
• Support internal and external audits, responding promptly to audit queries and providing required documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and control.
