Accountant for Community Schemes – City Bowl

About the role
The company is seeking an Accountant to manage all financial recording and reporting for the bodies corporate and homeowners’ associations it administers. Based in the City Centre of Cape Town, the role supports the community‑scheme and real‑estate portfolio of Pam Golding Property Management Services.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain full accounting function in line with community‑scheme and real‑estate regulations.
- Perform administration, consolidation and bookkeeping for multiple bodies corporate.
- Manage debtors, creditors, treasury operations and cashbook entries.
- Prepare budgets, management accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant rules.
Required profile
- Proven experience in accounting for community schemes or property management.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory framework governing bodies corporate and homeowners’ associations.
- Ability to handle full bookkeeping, consolidation and financial reporting tasks.
Required skills
- Full bookkeeping competency.
