Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

As an Accountant at SuperSportBet, you will be at the heart of the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support day‑to‑day transaction recording, reporting and payroll while maintaining clean, reliable data for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile financial records, including journal entries and supplier invoices.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate salary preparation and related reconciliations.
• Oversee supplier payments, both local and international, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Provide clear, actionable reporting to give visibility to key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Proven experience managing payroll and reconciliations.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently while supporting a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
