Accountant – Financial & Cost Management

About the role

Mountain Kingdom Drops is seeking a detail‑driven Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, cost analysis and budgeting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including the general ledger.
• Monitor and analyse manufacturing, labour and overhead costs; calculate product costing and profitability.
• Reconcile raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished‑goods inventory and monitor valuation.
• Verify supplier invoices, process payments and manage customer accounts and outstanding balances.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and monitor departmental spending.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and maintain strong internal controls.
• Prepare production and operational financial reports, analyse efficiency and provide cost‑control recommendations.
• Reconcile daily sales reports, manage bank deposits and maintain organized financial filing.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Accounting.
• Experience in cost or management accounting is an advantage.
