Accountant – Financial Administration & Invoicing

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to support the financial administration, invoicing and debtor management for our Advisory & Transaction services across South Africa and the Rest of Africa. The role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely reporting, daily bank clearing and comprehensive account reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Raise resource recovery, monthly, travel and ad‑hoc invoices for key clients.
• Process client creations in SAP after verifying registration documents and service level agreements.
• Allocate and clear all bank transactions related to Advisory & Transaction services on a daily basis.
• Maintain weekly invoice summary tracker and update debtor reports for SA and ROA.
• Track third‑party fees, resolve vendor and broker commission queries, and manage payment approval requests.
• Process weekly bank transaction journals, load payroll journals, and perform balance‑sheet and specific reconciliations.

Required profile

• Senior Certificate with Accounting as a subject.
• Bookkeeping qualification and/or National Diploma in Accounting.
• Studying or completed studies with Accounting as a major.
• Approximately 2 years of relevant experience.
