About the role
Join a well‑established business in the engineering and construction sector where finance plays a key role in supporting operational success. This hands‑on, detail‑driven position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes ownership, and partners confidently with teams across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage month‑end close, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
- Process intercompany transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation and balance‑sheet schedules.
- Prepare VAT, tax‑related reconciliations and statutory submissions.
- Oversee debtors and creditors and support audit requirements.
Required profile
- BCom Accounting or Finance qualification.
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a commercial environment.
- SAICA or SAIPA articles completed (CIMA advantageous).
- Experience with Pastel Accounting and/or Xero.
