Account Manager III – Strategic Partnerships

About the role

The Account Manager III will own relationships with senior decision‑makers across a portfolio of channel partner accounts in Africa. You will generate demand for LexisNexis Risk Solutions products, identify new sales opportunities, and drive revenue growth while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior‑level decision makers and influencers within assigned channel partner accounts.
• Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities in existing and prospective accounts.
• Create demand for products and services by increasing awareness and profile with customers.
• Achieve revenue targets by growing spend per account.
• Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with senior customer stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans in line with broader sales objectives.
• Monitor resources and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on the sales plan.
• Support team success by training new members and contributing to performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing relationships with senior‑level customer stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and close sales opportunities.
• Strong account management and customer relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience planning and executing territory or account strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts of moderate complexity.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to develop team members.
