Account Manager – Advertising & Marketing

About the role

HOOLA is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Account Manager to lead client relationships for its advertising and marketing services in Port Elizabeth. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client objectives are translated into strategic and creative deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day client interactions and take accurate briefs.
• Prepare proposals, scope project costs and generate quotes using internal financial tools.
• Manage client and project budgets, timelines, and internal team coordination.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to grow accounts.
• Collaborate with strategy, creative, and digital teams to deliver on‑brand, on‑time work that exceeds expectations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an advertising agency environment.
• Strong client‑facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven account management skills, including negotiation and relationship building.
• Solid understanding of brand strategy, campaign planning, and both digital and traditional channels.
• Excellent project‑management capabilities, handling multiple accounts and budgets.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence for occasional out‑of‑town travel.
