PR & Marketing Intern

About the role

SAIMI is looking for a PR & Marketing Intern to support its communications, branding and event activities. The role will involve coordinating online presence, liaising with agencies and assisting with stakeholder outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate PR and marketing initiatives, including social media updates and website content.
• Liaise with advertising agencies, obtain quotes and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Source, order and track production of branding and marketing materials, ensuring compliance with corporate identity.
• Assist in planning and executing events and outreach programmes, maintaining project documentation.
• Provide secretarial support such as answering calls, scheduling meetings, taking minutes and preparing presentations.

Required profile

• Post‑school qualification in PR, events or communication.
• Excellent organisational and administrative experience with strong written and spoken English.
• Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
