Access Control Technician

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to join their technical team. The role involves installing, maintaining, fault‑finding and repairing access control systems across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission Hikvision access control equipment.
• Install and service Impro Level 2 & Level 3 access control systems.
• Install and troubleshoot magnetic locks, break‑glass units, door closers, key switches, exit buttons and door contacts.
• Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Test and commission completed installations ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Complete service reports and installation documentation.
• Provide on‑site customer service and work both independently and within a technical team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Access Control Technician.
• Proven experience with Impro Level 2 & Level 3 systems and Hikvision products.
• Hands‑on experience installing and servicing magnetic locks, break‑glass units, door closers, key switches and related hardware.
• Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
