About the role

IoT.nxt, together with Limco Consulting, offers a 12‑month paid internship programme for recent South African graduates. The programme is designed to give hands‑on experience in building Internet‑of‑Things solutions, cloud platforms and related technologies within a professional environment in Gauteng.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project teams in developing and testing IoT devices and cloud‑based services.
• Support technical operations, including DevOps tasks, system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to project documentation, reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects in areas such as HR, finance, digital marketing, networking and cyber security.
• Engage in continuous learning through workshops, mentorship and on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., IT, engineering, business, design, HR, finance).
• South African citizenship and currently unemployed.
• Computer literacy with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a professional, team‑oriented setting.
