About the role
Senwes Grainlink is offering a 12‑month structured learnership that provides hands‑on experience in grain silo operations while you work towards qualification as a Junior Grain Grader. The programme is designed for young, motivated individuals eager to start a career in the agricultural sector.
Key responsibilities
- On‑the‑job training in silo operations, grain handling, and administration.
- Exposure to a range of grain commodities (maize, sunflower, soya, etc.) and accredited training in grain grading and essential workplace skills.
Required profile
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Age between 18 and 25 years.
- Interest in agriculture or technical fields.
- Willingness to work at a silo and learn grain operations.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
- Basic understanding of grain grading (training provided).
