About the role
Our Youth Employment Programme in Gqeberha offers unemployed young South Africans a chance to gain practical experience in the health and beauty retail sector. Participants will combine classroom learning with on‑the‑job training in a Clicks store, preparing them for a career in retail.
Key responsibilities
- Attend classroom sessions covering retail fundamentals and customer service.
- Assist on the shop floor, supporting checkout operations and product displays.
- Apply learned skills under supervision to real‑world retail scenarios.
- Complete assessments to earn the NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator qualification.
Required profile
- South African citizen, aged 18‑29.
- Matriculated (passed Grade 12).
- Currently unemployed and not enrolled in another learnership or skills programme.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Team‑oriented and eager to learn.
Required skills
- Basic numeracy and literacy.
What we offer
