Young Professional-in-Training (Graduate Trainee)

About the role

Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) is inviting unemployed South African graduates aged 18 to 35 to join a two-year graduate development programme in Beaufort West. The programme provides both institutionalised knowledge and on-the-job training, with progress assessed every six months. It is aimed at graduates from registered higher education institutions with no prior work experience in their field.

Required profile

• A fully completed National Diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or in Industrial Psychology, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.
• No prior work experience required; successful candidates are placed in a relevant department of TFR.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Preference is given to applicants from designated groups under the organisation's Employment Equity Plan, with first preference for persons with disabilities living in Beaufort West.
