Wireman's License Single Phase Bursary (R4000/month)

About the role

EYKON is offering a bursary/sponsorship to support unemployed South African citizens in obtaining a Wireman's License for single‑phase domestic installations. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R4 000 while completing the required training and examinations.

Required profile

• Currently unemployed South African citizen, preferably from previously disadvantaged groups.
• Minimum theoretical qualification: either a National N2 certificate with Mathematics, Engineering Science and Electrical Trade Theory, or Grade 11/12 with Mathematics, Science and Technical‑electrical subjects (minimum 40% in each).
• Practical requirement: Trade Test Certificate or at least five years of proven experience in the electrical industry.
• Must submit a complete application package including up‑to‑date CV, cover letter, certified copies of qualifications, ID copy and employment confirmation letters.

What we offer

• Monthly stipend of R4 000 until the Wireman's License qualification is achieved.
