Wealth Planning Advisor

About the role

The Wealth Planning Advisor will build relationships with new and existing clients, understand their financial goals and deliver tailored wealth management solutions. This role involves analysing client data, researching investment options and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to identify financial objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and create personalized financial plans.
• Research investment options, insurance policies and other financial products.
• Maintain accurate client records using CRM and financial planning software.
• Gather and analyse client financial data, including income, expenses, assets and liabilities.
• Monitor financial markets and industry news to support investment strategies.
• Prepare reports and visual summaries such as charts and presentations for client meetings.
• Ensure all compliance paperwork and documentation meet regulatory standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in sales and client servicing (preferred).
• Minimum NQF Level 5 qualification in Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Self‑motivated, ethical and goal‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and financial planning software.
• Ability to conduct financial needs analysis and develop financial plans.
• Research skills for investment options and financial products.
• Capability to create reports and visual presentations.
