Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of team leaders, operators, auditors and general workers. You will ensure smooth inbound operations, maintain high quality standards and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, international logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow on the inbound floor, guaranteeing accurate order receipt and movement.
• Train, schedule and evaluate inbound staff, fostering a safe and highly productive workplace.
• Track shipments, ensure timely off‑loading and systematic stock movement.
• Audit and verify off‑loaded stock to guarantee order accuracy for the next day’s loading plan.
• Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms for inventory and shipping label tracking, keeping all reports up‑to‑date.
• Implement and monitor 5S principles across all areas of responsibility.
• Manage staff discipline regarding time‑and‑attendance, PPE compliance and procedural adherence.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse or inbound teams in a logistics setting.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to develop individuals and promote Maersk’s values and culture.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• ERP platform experience.
• Knowledge of 5S methodology.
