Warehouse Storeman

About the role

Symrise is seeking a Warehouse Storeman to manage the safe, accurate and timely receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. The role works closely with the Flavors, Fragrances and Cosmetic Ingredients teams to support operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety and inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with internal departments to review and coordinate expected deliveries.
• Receive incoming materials, including local deliveries, imported goods, non‑stock items, customer returns, sea‑freight containers and air‑freight consignments.
• Unload, verify and document all consignments, ensuring correct labeling and safe movement to storage locations.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch, managing VL10 deliveries and shipping activities.
• Monitor stock levels, issue materials to production, and support inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment while complying with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience using SAP in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Minimum Grade 12 / High School Diploma (a Warehouse or Logistics Diploma is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and a safety‑conscious mindset.
