About the role
The Warehouse Manager will lead all warehouse activities for Omnia Fertiliser's Nutriology division in Nigel, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of fertiliser products. This role is central to maintaining high service levels, stock accuracy and supporting regional demand planning.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch processes to meet operational targets.
- Develop and enforce warehouse procedures, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Manage warehouse resources, equipment, space utilisation and workflow optimisation.
- Coordinate inventory management, stock accuracy checks and regular performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with production and distribution teams to align production plans with forecasted demand.
- Handle contractor relationships and ensure timely maintenance of warehouse infrastructure.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in an industrial or agricultural setting.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, demand forecasting and production planning.
- Ability to manage teams, resources and external contractors effectively.
- Knowledge of safety, quality and regulatory requirements for handling fertiliser products.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
