Warehouse General Worker

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse General Worker to join our Durban team. The role involves handling a variety of warehouse tasks, from receiving and storing goods to preparing shipments. You will work in a fast‑paced environment ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Move and stack materials using forklifts or other equipment.
• Count and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare orders for shipment and verify their accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
• Valid forklift licence is an asset.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (licence preferred).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
