Warehouse Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, safety‑focused Warehouse Driver to transport food stock between warehouses, distribution centres and retail outlets. You will support warehouse operations by loading, unloading and ensuring accurate delivery handling while maintaining product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Execute on‑time food stock transfers and preserve cold‑chain integrity.
• Verify and reconcile delivery notes, invoices and stock transfer records.
• Communicate delivery status, delays or issues in real‑time using company systems or mobile apps.
• Identify route and process improvements and contribute to team meetings.
• Represent the company professionally with internal teams and external partners.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report safety concerns.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels and scheduled maintenance.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or Matric equivalent.
• 4‑6 years of driver experience, preferably in the Western Cape.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, route planning and vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent time‑management, customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
