About the role
BCE FoodService Equipment is looking for a reliable, organised Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in Blackheath, Cape Town. The role involves handling stock accurately, ensuring smooth receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack products accurately according to company instructions.
- Check incoming deliveries, verify quantities, and report discrepancies.
- Replenish stock to maintain inventory availability.
- Load and unload goods safely, with special care for fragile items.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Good command of English with strong communication, mathematical and literacy abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.
- Physical fitness to lift and move heavy items safely.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (certification advantageous).
- Basic computer literacy for stock recording.
