About the role
Pedros Chicken is launching a new store in Belgravia, Cape Town and is looking for enthusiastic waitrons to join the launch team. This permanent, entry‑level position involves greeting guests, taking orders and ensuring a smooth, high‑quality dine‑in experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, present menus and explain daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate dietary requirements to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently, check on guests during their visit and clear tables quickly.
- Process payments at the table or coordinate with cashiers, and handle minor customer concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen, counter staff and shift managers to maintain uninterrupted order flow.
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (preferred).
- Previous hospitality or restaurant service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
- Strong customer focus, communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
