VP & GM: Product Platform

About the role

Entersekt, a global fintech company known for payment security and fraud prevention, is seeking a VP & GM for its Product Platform. The role is fully remote and based in South Africa, and involves steering the strategic direction of the core platform components, including administration, reporting and detection capabilities. The aim is to turn a collection of siloed tools into a cohesive suite of reusable building blocks, with the VP & GM taking full ownership of the platform's business performance, roadmap and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision for the platform components so they remain scalable across multiple international markets.
• Partner with other General Managers so the platform becomes the primary choice for internal product development, removing technical and operational blockers.
• Develop and monitor key health metrics for each platform component so performance and business value are clearly reported.
• Build the internal ecosystem needed for success, including documentation, migration pathways and enablement resources.
• Lead and mentor the product management team behind the platform's core pillars, presenting progress at executive and portfolio planning forums.
• Drive adoption, manage competing priorities across product lines, and build a go-to-market strategy for the platform, including cost modelling, investment strategies and value-capture frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in product leadership, focused on product strategy and roadmap execution.
• Proven track record driving adoption of complex technical platforms and managing their business models and value capture.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and technical leadership to turn complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-performing product management teams.
• Ability to work across time zones, as the role is remote and serves a global client base.
