Visual Merchandiser - Coricraft

About the role

Coricraft is looking for a Visual Merchandiser in Cape Town. The role sets up and maintains the Coricraft Golden Thread, keeping the brand's look, feel and style consistent across stores. It covers merchandise presentation, POS materials, customer demographics and store layouts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute store layouts, product placement and displays to improve the customer experience and maximise sales.
• Develop and update floor plans and CAD drawings, and manage the movement and allocation of showroom display stock.
• Roll out advertising campaigns, promotions, special offers and new product launches with the right signage, pricing and displays.
• Maintain showroom standards, including leather walls, marketing collateral, samples and display units.
• Coordinate the setup, maintenance and breakdown of campaigns, expos, trade shows and other marketing events.
• Work with Planning, Buying, Marketing and Store Operations teams, and monitor competitors through store visits and benchmarking.
• Manage merchandising projects within agreed timelines and budgets, and support business growth by improving product visibility and stock turn.

Required profile

• Diploma in Decorating or Merchandising.
• At least 2 years of experience in Visual Merchandising (Décor Merchandising prerequisite).
• Retail experience is advantageous.
• Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Creative flair for interiors and attention to detail.
• Analytical skills.
