Visual Merchandise Specialist - Cape Town

About the role

The Visual Merchandise Specialist supports the Fix Marketing team by managing visual assets, analytics and communication tools that shape the in-store experience. You will work with merchants, styling teams and brand stakeholders so that everything from Mockshop images to mannequin displays aligns with strategic retail goals and seasonal campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Mockshop image repository and related data, liaising with merchants and merchant management
• Update and manage the Analysis and Communications views on Mockshop
• Set up seasonal and monthly store grades, reporting sell-through and new stock volumes
• Run monthly PIS reviews and oversee mannequin styling for visual consistency
• Lead seasonal brainstorming, create and review Yoobic missions and promotional communications
• Edit product dimension data and deep-etch images for Mockshop use
• Produce weekly product briefs for brand and social teams
• Use knowledge of store and fixture types to support strategic merchant reviews
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for timely rollout of visual assets and campaigns
• Monitor and report visual performance metrics and recommend improvements

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail, Marketing or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail communications or similar roles
• In-depth understanding of store layouts and fixture systems
• Hands-on experience styling mannequins and creating visual displays
• Ability to contribute to seasonal planning and brainstorming
• Attention to detail for data editing and image preparation
