Visual Arts Teacher – Secondary School

About the role

Reddam House Constantia is seeking a dedicated Visual Arts Teacher to join its vibrant faculty. You will deliver IEB‑aligned visual arts lessons to secondary students, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and present engaging Visual Arts lessons that meet IEB standards.
• Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes deep learning.
• Provide pastoral care as a Tutor teacher for a designated group of students.
• Set, mark and record assessments, and write informative report comments.
• Teach extra lessons and participate in the afternoon programme at least two afternoons per week.
• Respond to emails and telephone messages within 24 hours.
• Maintain professional punctuality, behaviour and work standards.
• Continuously evaluate and refine teaching practice and pursue professional development.
• Undertake additional reasonable tasks assigned by the School Head or Deputy Head of Academics.
